Maintenance Issues

Rockett Home Rentals uses a fantastic 24 hour, online maintenance reporting system to log any maintenance issues.

Request a Repair

If you are residing in one of our managed properties and have a maintenance issue you wish to make us aware of, please click the icon below to report the issue. Save the link in your favourites so that you can easily report problems in the future.

Maintenance reports sent this way will always take higher priority than those sent via email or given over the phone.

We will then instruct one of our contractors to head out to your property; they can either enter with keys from our office or meet you there.

Out of Hours Emergency Maintenance

We have updated the way that we deal with out of hours emergency maintenance issues. Any new maintenance issues reported via our current repair reporting system when the office is closed will be triaged directly with a tradesperson over video. You will be able to connect with someone in a matter of minutes to discuss and review the issue.

Following your report, you will receive an SMS and email with a link to connect you to the tradesperson. Please click on the link from your smart phone when you are with the issue and have good Wi-Fi signal. We will be sharing your phone number and email address with the software provider purely for the purpose of providing you with this service and identification at the time of a report.

This service is designed to get your emergency maintenance problems dealt with quickly and efficiently. You will be connected with a qualified and experienced tradesperson via video that can help to triage your issue, and if possible, help you fix it under supervision. If the issue requires a physical visit, this process will cut your waiting time by providing photos and a full report of the issue to our management team, so that the physical engineer can arrive with parts and “first fix” the problem, reducing the time it will take to complete a full repair. The video engineer is also able to dispatch a physical emergency contractor if the situation requires one.
You can use the service whenever the office is closed. However, please only use the service if you have a genuine maintenance emergency. We will receive a copy of the engineer’s report and be able to act on the information you have provided to them, where necessary. You can see a little more about how it works here:

Property Visits

We carry out property visits up to twice a year to take a look at the condition of the property and any recent maintenance works which have taken place. It also provides a great opportunity to ask about your plans in the property with regards to your tenancy. Property visits are arranged directly with the tenant at a convenient time for you; please note, however, we are only able to visit properties between 9.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Tenancy Renewals

If your tenancy is coming to an end you can either go onto a rolling contract or request to renew your contract. Simply email [email protected] and we will discuss this with your landlord.
