Panaro's has come a long way in a short time, and these days it's one of the most popular cafe bars in Newcastle under Lyme.
Sporting the feel of a hip New York deli, and boasting the warm hospitality that the Potteries is famous for, Panaro's pulls in crowds of drinkers and diners every day, especially at the weekends.
The dining room is quirky yet cosy, the menu is eclectic, consisting of freshly prepared dishes from around the globe - and the staff are spot on. Oh, and there's a weekly prosecco happy hour.
Not only this, but events manager and Hairy Bartenders percussionist, Jake Clarke Matthews, runs regular open mic nights, author readings, and other cultural events that are proving very popular.
This mix of traditional values, great food and drink and exciting events have served as a catalyst for success for the cafe in recent months. And, as a result, Panaro's needs a bigger boat, as it were.
So, to suit their big ambitions, Panaro's will soon be moving across the high street to where Gio's once stood, recreating their beloved venue in a bigger, better setting.
By doing so, Panaro's will be able to serve more customers and make their events all the more epic.
Exciting things are in store for Panaro's, and this kind of expansion is a positive sign for the town of Newcastle under Lyme.
With great new developments on the horizon all the time, things are certainly on the up, and as the summer approaches, we can't wait to see what's in store.
