The newest, and perhaps tastiest, event happening in honour of Staffordshire Day has to be the World's Biggest Oatcake Morning.
A new addition for 2018, thousands of oatcake fanatics are planning to tuck into their favourite breakfast food (or dinner, or tea - or anytime come to that) to celebrate this most famous of Staffordshire delicacies. While we’re on the subject of fun: lots of locals are also taking ‘Mug Shots’ by grabbing their favourite tea or coffee mug and posting their selfie online with the hashtag #mugshot. If you do decide to take part and join in the merriment make sure it's Staffordshire made pottery, please.
Tomorrow it’s going to be extra historical in Stafford with a very special Staffordshire Day event at the Railway.
