As you might know by now, here at Rockett Home Rentals we like to celebrate the achievements of local businesses - which is why we’re proud to announce that Newcastle Under Lyme’s very own TONI&GUY has reached the semi-finals of the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Award 2019.
The beloved local salon breezed through its first round and now it will go head to head with competing salons at the North West Regional Semi-Final event which takes place today (2nd April 2019) at Liverpool’s Camp & Furnace.
During round one of the competition, hundreds of photographic images from across the nation were judged by a collection of the most iconic names in hairdressing, including British Hairdresser of the Year, Sally Brooks, Charlotte Mensah and Jamie Stevens, in addition to hairdressing legends, Charles Worthington MBE and Errol Douglas MBE.
TONI&GUY showcased its creative innovation, fighting off stiff competition to emerge as successful Regional Semi-Final contestants - an incredible achievement, to say the least.
The next stage of the competition will push the team's talents to the max as they look to create an inspirational, groundbreaking contemporary colour, complemented by a contemporary approach to styling and finish. The team of legendary judges will be keeping their eyes peeled for work that is exceptionally executed and technically precise.
At each Regional Semi-Final, six successful creative teams will be announced, two of which will be guaranteed to progress to the prestigious L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final in June, coupled with an announcement of who is to be taken through to the Shortlisted Judging Stage.
The L’Oréal Colour Trophy Semi-finalists are in for a chance to win the celebrated Grand Final prize of national media coverage, a European trip to shoot their winning look and an exclusive feature with a top-class consumer title.
